I work with individuals, couples, and families assisting them to better communicate feelings which can lead to reducing stress and anger in the home.
Much of my practice consists of assisting Couples to becoming more emotionally connected and intimately engaged in their relationship.
I work in helping to identify stressors which heighten anxiety and teach techniques to reduce stress and anxiety.
Another passion is to match others with their passion in life. I look at one's whole life including self, family, leisure, income responsibilities, gifts and interests. I see career as an integral part of one's whole life.

About My Practice
I have been counseling others for over fifteen years and have helped hundreds of clients in finding and fulfilling their inner passions. In the process of clients discovering their passions many have rediscovered their own natural gifts and abilities. Many clients have found that by recognizing their transferable skill sets, transitioning into a new career is much more accessible than they once thought.
I can identify with my clients
As one who has gone through this career transitioning process myself, I understand some of the challenges clients face. I am a former public school educator. I have served as a youth director and volunteer coordinator for non-profit organizations where I have recruited and trained over 100 volunteers to serve locally and aboard. I have worked with clients in fields of higher education, construction management, health care, engineering, advertising, and small business development and managment. I returned to graduate school to complete my masters degree in the clinical counseling field and opened my private practice, Centerline Counseling in 2007. In 2010 I co-founded Ruxton Counseling Center in Towson, Maryland .
